The Modern Home Design Process: Phase Three

Design Development

During the Design Development phase, we refine the design concepts established in the previous Schematic Design Phase. Utilizing state-of-the-art design software, our team meticulously constructs a comprehensive 3D model that enhances both the exterior and interior elements of the home concurrently. It's imperative to solidify the overall design of the home before progressing to the Construction Documents Phase.

What To Expect

Throughout the Design Development phase, we construct a comprehensive 3D model to fine-tune both the exterior facade and interior layout simultaneously. This iterative process enables us to precisely define the placement of windows, doors, and essential fixtures and utilities. Beyond shaping the visible aspects of your future spaces, we delve into configuring the concealed systems that reside within walls and floors.

What We Need

Before concluding the Design Development phase, we'll collaborate with you to choose the exterior materials for your home. This can be facilitated through an in-person meeting or by delivering material samples to you for review. Evaluating these samples allows for a detailed analysis of color, texture, size, and installation methods for each product. Subsequently, our architects will incorporate these material selections into the 3D model of your home, ensuring seamless integration with the overall design vision.
