An outstanding material and a benefit to the environment: One of the most significant aspects of a sustainable product is its durability before it needs to be replaced. Many innovative projects from the early 1900s, whose steel windows are still in excellent working condition today, testify to the unrivalled durability of steel.

A significant portion of energy enters and leaves a building through windows, which can account for up to 30% of heat loss. With smart design and the choice of high-efficiency components, a building’s energy consumption can be substantially reduced.

Performance, long product life cycle, maximum recycling rate: Modern thermal break technologies, the exceptionally low thermal conductivity values of steel – combined with the total absence of draughts, which alone would compromise any insulation system – and the possibility of accommodating high-performance glazing, even heavy and thick ones, make it possible to reduce energy requirements for climatisation significantly. All for the benefit of the environment in which we live.

Carbon Neutral by 2030!: The factories in Switzerland, under the supervision of the Swiss Energy Agency for the Economy (AEnEC), have for many years been engaged in a process of constantly reducing emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases and optimising energy efficiency through constant upgrades of our production facilities and processes.

Every year, all work carried out is regularly certified. In addition, the electricity used to power our plants in Switzerland comes exclusively from renewable sources, namely European hydroelectric power plants.
